IOA nominates Sachin Tendulkar as Rio Brand Ambassador
Bharat Ratna Sachin Tendulkar has been nominated for brand ambassador position for the Rio de Janeiro Olympics by the Indian Olympic Association. Earlier, the IOA has decided to nominate Sachin as Brand Ambassador for the Olympics. It has written a letter proposing his name as one of the brand ambassadors. It is awaiting Sachin's reply. It hopes Sachin will favourably respond to the plea. Along with Sachin, the IOA is seeking to make music maestro AR Rahman also a brand amabassador for the Olympics. Making Salman Khan has become controversial. So the IOA is seeking to avoid controversy by naming the right sportsmen and music composers as brand ambassadors.
