Acting ain't cricket & tougher, says Sachin Tendulkar

After playing 200 Test cricket matches and thousands of first-class matches, cricketing god Sachin Tendulkar realises that acting is tougher than playing the fastest bowlers in the world. Sachin's argument is when you play cricket, it is another day in the office. But not acting, and how is it so? Sachin is acting in a biopic`Sachin: A Billion Dreams.' He says when you play cricket, it's like any other day. But when you act, you will have to bring out a particular emotion to the fore. `For so many years, I did whatever I wanted to do, camera captured that. Suddenly I was asked to do particular things, and camera captured that. So it was a bit different.' He further says: `Acting is not what I dreamt of. Without any doubt, acting is more challenging than playing cricket. I enjoy playing more.' Sachin is making his acting debut with the bioic being made by award-winning British director James Erskine. Significantly, Bollywood is making a biopic for Mohammed Azharuddin, who played only 99 Tests for India, but made greater contribution to Indian cricket in the transition from Gavaskar-Vishwanath duo to Saurav Ganguly-Sachin Tendulkar as a batsman and a top fielder.
