Bollywood Star Aishwarya Rai hurt while shooting
Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was hurt when she was shooting for a film in a Punjab village on Thursday. For the scene, she had to run on a village road. As the road was uneven, she was injured when the slipper she was wearing slipped and she fell down. The slipper broke in two. Despite the injurry, Aishwarya continued with the shooting and finished it. She did not wait for another pair of slippers to be brought to her. She showed her commitment by going ahead slipperless for the shooting. She did not mind the injury even. The film crew were pleasantly surprised by her commitment to complete the shooting. Normally, leading actresses are expected to fret and fume over minor incoveniences. So are Bolloywood heros. But not this heroine. Aishwarya showed all the professionalism expected of the Bachchans. only if they show the same professionalism on the economic front, it would be like living the leading role in the world of cinema.
