20,000 jobs to be filled in AP

The Andhra Pradesh government on Saturday announced the filling up of 20,000 posts in various departments, giving hope for the jobless youth in the State. The filling up of the posts would be done in a phased manner. This was among the major decisions by the AP Cabinet which met from the morning to the evening. The Cabinet had comprehensive discussions on the sand policy. The government would continue the free supply of sand for house construction. It was announced among the Cabinet decisions that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu would be visiting two districts per week during April and May. During the visits, the Chief Minister would be visiting the projects in progress and make a review in the mornings. In the afternoon, he would deal with other programmes in the districts.
