YCP to file contempt of court plea against AP Govt, Speaker

The Andhra Pradesh State Assembly affairs are going to figure prominently in the High court bench that set aside the suspension of RK Roja, YCP leader, for a period of 1 year. Along with Roja's appeal that she had not been allowed to enter the State Assembly despite the single-judge bench's interim order, the division bench is going to hear on Monday the Assembly Secretary's plea on Roja suspension and also the contempt of court appeal by the YCP party headed by Jaganmohan Reddy. The YCP plea is that the interim order of the High Court Bench allowing Roja to attend the Assembly was held in contempt by the Chandrababu Naidu government. It is going to file a contempt of court appeal in this regard. The YCP leaders held a meeting on their course of action at Lotus Pond party headquarters after complaining to Governor ESL Narasimhan in regard to Roja. They decided to file the contempt of court plea against the AP government and the Speaker, Dr Kodela Sivaprasad Rao, for rejecting entry to Roja.
