Minister's son Susheel faces arrest for misbehaving with woman

The Jubilee Hills police in Hyderabad on Saturday issued a notice to Ravela Susheel, son of AP Minister Ravela Kishore Babu, in connection with the incident on Friday when the youth is alleged to have misbehaved with a woman while he was in a drunken condition. The charge against Susheel under Section 41 Cr.P.C. was personally handed over to the Minister's son at his residence at Ministers' Quarters in Jubilee Hills. Section 41 deals with arrest without warrant for any cognizable offence punishable with imprisonment. Susheel's driver was given a notice by the police on Friday itself. Following an altercation of a pet dog coming across the road, Susheel is alleged to have pulled the woman. As a result, people who gathered there roughed up Susheel. While Susheel claimed he had patched up the matter with the woman, she went to the police station again and told the police the details of the altercation, with the rider that if no action was taken against Susheel she would stage dharna at the police station. The fresh notice of the police under Section 41 followed.
