Jats out on an arson spree in Haryana

Kurukshetra in Haryana was the battleground of yore, but the Jats have turned the whole of the State into a battleground with their agitation for quotas. Much like their well-off counterparts the Kapus in Andhra, the Jat agitators on Saturday stormed Buddhakher railway station in Jind district and set fire to the furniture there. The Jats' agitators set fire to everything in their sight in a series of arson incidents in Haryana. During the Kapu agitation also, Tuni railway station was set on fire and two police stations were attacked there. At Guhana Road, three schools have been set on fire by the agitators. Around the area, the agitators have burnt down everything in their sight such as petrol stations, community halls and shops. At Kalnor, the BDO office was set on fire. The Jat element in Jawaharlal University in Delhi and students studying in various colleges moved to highways and held demonstrations demanding quotas for the community. In the 30 arterial roads passing through Jind, not one vehicle moved on Saturday. The Delhi-Sonepat road has been blocked. The entire railway system in Haryana has come to a standstill. Primarily Kshatriyas, the Jats have a medal-winning regiment in the Indian Army. The Jat people are Hindu, Muslim and Sikh and are widespread in northern states of Western UP, Punjab, Rajasthan, Haryana and Pakistan's Sind and Punjab.
