Chandrababu lying on AP House expansion: YCP

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu was bluffing when he said he would secure 50 more MLA seats in the State, YCP leader Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy said on Monday. Mekapati met with the Election Commission officials to find out whether the Chief Minister was telling the truth. When he met the EC officials this morning, they clearly told him that an expansion of the AP Assembly was not possible till 2026. Chandrababu's gameplan was to lure leaders to his side by promising them about more seats in the State Assembly. The YCP, on its part, has regretted that it could not lie about the inclusion of the Kapus among the Backward Classes, which Chandrababu Naidu did and went onto win the assembly elections. The white lie had made all the difference, the YCP had since regretted.
