Babu ropes in Krishnamurthy to talk to Kapu leader

Apart from Boddu Bhaskararao, the ruling Telugu Desam Party has roped in Deputy Chief Minister K.E. Krishnamurthy to resume the dialogue with Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham in a bid to defuse the situation created by the fasting leader and his wife, Padmavathy. The condition of Padmavathy is said to be deteriorating, according to the medical personnel checking their health on a regular basis. While Krishnamurthy's purpose of coming to East Godavari was different, newsmen met him and asked him about the outcome of the GHMC polls. Responding to the queries, the Minister said winning and losing polls was part of governance. For instance, the BJP, which was in power at the Centre, lost the Delhi assembly poll miserably. When that is the case, the TDP cannot hope to win every time. Last time, the TDP held 45 divisions in the GHMC. Its number was reduced to 1 this time. However, neither the newsmen nor Krishnamurthy referred to the fact that it was the post-split of the combined AP that the GHMC poll took place. Notionally it appears Hyderabad is still in their consciousness as capital, although it is a temporary one.
