Video on RSS video doing social media rounds
The emerging video culture cuts both ways. If a video is taken to show an incident, another video soon emerges as to why the preceding video was deliberately enacted. The video at RSS headquarters in New Delhi is a case in point. The video at the RSS headquarters shows the police behaving in utmost brutality on the girls who were continuing the intolerance debate in their own way. There was a man in blue jeans and blue jacket who along with the police had beaten the girls, even as the girls were screaming to the skies alleging police brutality. Whoever be the man in blue, it now emerges that the girls had met and decided to run down the Narendra Modi government in an unprintable language at the RSS headquarters, raking up, among other issues, the Rohith Vemula episode at Hyderabad Central University. They had decided to use expletives so it provokes the police and to show the Modi government as intolerant. It now appears that the girls' demonstration was a deliberate and faked one. A girl who has taken the drama video on her smartphone put it on the net and it is doing the rounds on social media right now. The girl had made the recording surreptitiously.
