Aussies find no answer to indian onslaught

Sat, Jan 30, 2016, 06:21 PM
The Aussies having beaten India in Test and Limited overs cricket. But they are not able to digest the two straight defeats in the more fashionable T20 cricket. The Aussies have not been able to find an answer to Rohit-Virat combination that has formed a pivot in the T20 cricket.

The Aussies are blaming injuries and Steve Smith and David Warner leaving for New Zeland as reasons for their handicap in the third and final match of the series on Sunday. Aron Finch, who captained the team, is out of the third match with a muscle pull. Shane Watson is expected to lead his team now.

Watson stressed the need for arresting the slide in Australia's fortunes. Would the Aussies overcome the Indian batting onslaught remains the question.

The Indian dressing Room, meanwhile, which is cited as the bane for defeats, is obviously doing fine. Yuvraj Singh is yet to bat in Australia, while doing his bit in blowling and fielding. If he gets a chance, then it should rain 6s.

The third match is scheduled for Sunday.
