Why trouble Hyd students, KTR asks US Consulate

What is the problem with Telugu students going for higher studies to the US and being sent back on the return flight, Telangana IT Minister K. Taraka Ramarao asked the US Consulate authorities in Hyderabad on Tuesday. At a special meeting with the authorities, KTR queried and received answers for the students failing to get past the American Homeland Security at US airports. He was keen on knowing problems being faced by Telugu students. He urged the US Consulate authorities to take care while issuing visas. He impressed on them that after they leave for the US higher educational institutions at a huge expenditure, if they were to return from the landing airport, there could be nothing more ridiculous. The Consulate authorities explained to KTR this was not unique for the Telugu students. They would take more care while issuing educational visas in the future. Batches of some 20 students each are returning from US airports, Abu Dhabi and Hyderabad even, as the US stepped up turning back those flying from Hyderabad.
