4 IS men beheaded in Afghanistan

Mon, Dec 28, 2015, 12:07 PM
Four ISIS men have been beheaded in North-eastern Afghanistan's Achin District and their severed heads were displayed on a highway. This is being interpreted as the democratic forces getting an unpperhand in the North. The local militias and Afghan Taliban are stated to be taking on the ISIS elements in the Nangarhar province.

There has been brutal violence among the ISIS, Afghan Taliban and Afghan Deputy Speaker Haji Zahir's militias in a struggle for power in the Nangarhar province. The militias are believed to have captured many terrorists and taken them captive. It is these captured terrorists who were beheaded and their heads displayed on the highway.

The Afghan Army as such had no role in the happenings in Northern Afghanistan. The Afghan government has meanwhile ordered a probe into the highway incidents.

It is stated that the clashes between Zahir's militias and the terrorists were going on for several weeks. Attacks and retaliations were the order. Significantly, Zahir said, "If they behead you, would you prepare sweets for them?"
