Dial 112 in case of emergency in Telangana

The Central government is setting up an emergency organisation for Telangana, Goa and Gujarat and fixed 112 number for the people to dial in case of an emergency. The number 112 can be dialled for health emergency, crime, accident or any serious situation. Immediately an emergency organisation will respond. The Central pilot project will be confined to these three States, including Telangana, to start with. After favourable results, the entire country is expected to be covered. The project 112 is like 911 emergency number in USA. The Central government is going to make all arrangements for the emergency project. The Centre expects the project to be of considerable help to the people.
