Infosys CFO resigns, shares plummet

Mumbai, Oct 12: Rajiv Bansal, Chief Financial Officer of Indian IT major Infosys has resigned today. The company today informed Bombay Stock Exchange about the key managerial changes in the organisation. According to the company, Rajiv Bansal stepped down as CFO and key managerial personnel today and resigned from the company effective December 31, 2015. Ranganath D Mavinakere is appointed as the new CFO and key managerial personnel effective October 12, 2015. Rajiv Bansal was appointed as CFO of Infosys on November 1, 2012 following the transfer of the then CFO Balakrishnan to Infosys BPO. Meanwhile, Infosys shares plummeted 2.90 per cent today. Incidentally, Infosys released its second quarter financial earnings in this fiscal today. Infosys net profit has risen by 12. 1 per cent to Rs 3,400 crore, highest in the past 16 quarters.
