Flipkart to set up its biggest warehouse in TS

Hyderabad, Oct 05: E-Commerce giant Flipkart has decided to set up its biggest warehouse in the country in Telangana. Flipkart will soon open its biggest warehouse in Hyderabad. The 2.2 lakh square feet warehouse is expected to ship out 1.2 lakh items daily. The facility will have fully automated segregators, separators and conveyor belts for sorting inventory. The warehouse will create 2,000 direct jobs and 10,000 to 15,000 indirect jobs. Due to the ambiguity in e-commerce taxation in Karnataka, Flipkart decided to set up the biggest warehouse in Telangana. World's leading e-commerce company Amazon has also constructed its biggest warehouse in the country at Kothur near Mahbubnagar.
