Raj Bhavan directs TS Chief Secretary to take action on Talasani
Hyderabad, Sept 26: The Raj Bhavan is believed to have issued directions to Telangana Chief Secretary Rajeev Sharma to initiate appropriate action against Commercial Taxes Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav following complaints of unethical party defection. The Raj Bhavan was acting on a complaint filed by Telugu Desam party MLA Maganti Gopinath. Gopinath is said to have complained to Election Commission, Governor, Union Home Ministry, Prime Minister and the President. In the complaint, Gopinath said Talasani was elected on TDP ticket. However, admitting him into the state cabinet will attract anti-defection law as it is a violation of the Constitution.
