AP, Chhattisgarh cops for Ganesh fest bandobust in Hyd

Hyderabad, Sep 17: Hyderabad Police Commissioner M Mahender Reddy has said that police forces of Andhra Pradesh and Chhattisgarh will be roped in for bandobust during Ganesh immersion in Hyderabad. The Commissioner said that 400 CCTVs would be installed to monitor the final procession of Ganesh idols from Balapur to Hussainsagar on September 27. In all, 20,000 police personnel will be deployed in the city. Besides this SHE teams would be deployed to ensure safety of women devotees. Police beefed up security and intensified vigil in view of Ganesh festivities and Bakrid.
