Vizag to host AP Assembly session
Hyderabad, Aug 07: The government is planning to hold Legislative Assembly session at Visakhapatnam from August 31 to September 4. The Officials will finalise the dates after consulting Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu who is on Turkey tour. It may be noted that the government also decided to organise Independence Day celebrations in the city. Officials selected Beach Road as the venue for the programme. The Chief Minister conducted his first Cabinet meeting at Executive Council Hall of Andhra University. In the year 1954, Andhra State Assembly session was held at the university when Tanguturi Prakasam was the Chief Minister.
