Special status to AP by Oct 22: KE Krishnamurthy

Hyderabad, Aug 06: Deputy Chief Minister KE Krishnamurthy has exuded confidence that the Centre would accord special status to the state by October 22. He launched a software related to 'Mee Bhoomi' programme here today. He said that BJP should not backtrack on special status. Krishnamurthy said that farmers can directly download details of 1B and adangal land records from the website http://meebhoomi.ap.gov.in. He informed that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu would formally launch 'Mee Intiki Mee Bhoomi' programme on August 10. He reiterated that government would cancel Special Economic Zones (SEZs) notified by the previous government. KE directed Krishna district Collector and SP to provide security to Musunuru MRO Vanajakshi.
