KCR gives nod to fill up 15k vacancies

Hyderabad, July 26: Good news to unemployed youth. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao gave green signal for filling up 15,000 posts in the first phase. He signed the file regarding this on Saturday. The maximum age limit was also increased from 34 years to 44 years. It is already known that KCR had announced earlier of filling up 25,000 posts every year in the coming four years. Permission for another 10,000 posts would come soon. Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) is preparing ground to issue notifications from August first week. GO regarding the age relaxation also will be given within two days. According to official sources, in the first phase of appointments, 8,000 vacancies in police department would be filled up. Out of this, 6,500 constable posts and the remaining 1,500 would be civil and reserved sub-inspector posts. 2,681 posts in electricity department and 4,300 posts in agriculture, garden, medical and health, municipality, panchayat raj, fire, RWS, excise, commercial tax, stamps and revenue, R&B, transport and GHMC would be filled up.
