GHMC Chief misleading KCR on 'Swachh Hyderabad': Danam
Hyderabad: Congress leader and former Minister Danam Nagender came down heavily on GHMC Commissioner Somesh Kumar for misleading Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on 'Swachh Hyderabad' programme. Speaking to the media here on Sunday, Danam said it is of no use to spend Rs 100 crore on 'Swachh Hyderabad'. He warned to file a petition against Somesh Kumar in the court after securing information on 'Swachh Hyderabad' through RTI Act. Responding on the issue of AP government serving notices to T News, a news channel, the Congress leader asked TRS leaders as to why they are speaking about media freedom. Danam asked why TRS leaders kept quiet when Telangana government had banned telecast of other news channels in the State. Danam sought to know from where T News could get the tapes of alleged conversation between AP CM and nominated MLA Stephenson when the same was supposed to be with ACB.
