Bride, groom, 13 others killed in Bengal road accident

Kolkata, May 1: Fifteen people, including the bride and the groom, returning from the marriage ceremony, were killed on Friday when the vehicle they were travelling in collided with a stationary truck in West Bengal's Alipurduar district, police said. The accident happened on National Highway No.31 near Madarihat in the district. "Fifteen people have been killed in the accident. The vehicle was coming from Birpara when it collided with a stationary truck, killing all the 15, including the groom and the bride," Superintendent of Police Akash Maghariya said.
