Dosakaya Senagapappu Masala

Ingredients:

1.Dosakaya pieces 1 cup
2.Chana dal 1 cup
3.Tempering seeds 1 tbsp
4.Green chillies 3
5.Dried red chillies 2
6.Onion chopped 1
7.Curry leaves
8.Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
9.Dry coconut powder 2 tbsp
10.Salt to taste
11.Masala red chilli powder
12.Turmeric powder a pinch
13.Coriander powder 1 tbsp
14.Coriander leaves
15.Oil 3 tbsp

Preparation:

1.Heat some oil in a pan,add dried red chillies,tempering seeds,onions and saute for few minutes.
2.Add dosakaya pieces,chana dal and mix well,add green chillies,turmeric powder,salt,masala red chilli powder and saute for few minutes.
3.Add curry leaves,some water as required,cover and cook for few minutes.Add ginger garlic paste,coconut powder,coriander powder and mix well.Cook for another 1 minute.Transfer into a bowl and garnish with coriander leaves.Serve hot.
