Rasam

Ingredients:

1.Dal water
2.Tamarind juice
3.Tomatoes chopped
4.Onion chopped
5.Curry leaves
6.Green chillies
7.Red chilli powder
8.Turmeric powder
9.Salt to taste
10.Sugar
11.Mustard seeds
12.Cumin seeds
13.Hing
14.Garlic
15.Coriander powder
16.Cumin powder
17.Pepper corns
18.Coriander leaves
19.Fenu greek seeds

Preparation:

1.Heat some water in a pan,add tomatoes,onions,green chillies,garlic,chilli powder,coriander powder,cumin powder,salt,sugar,toor dal water,coriander leaves,tamarind juice and bring it to boil.
2.Simmer it about 30 minutes till nice aroma.
3.Meanwhile crush pepper,cumin seeds,garlic and keep aside.Heat some ghee in a pan,add red chillies,mustard seeds,fenugreek seeds,hing,urad dal,curry leaves,garlic,turmeric and saute.
4.Pour tadka on rasam and mix well.Serve hot.
