Chicken Pakhi Biryani


1.Whole garam masala
2.Onions sliced
3.Salt to taste
4.Ginger garlic paste
6.Biryani masala powder
7.Green chillies
8.Pudina leaves
9.Coriander leaves
10.Lemon juice
11.Red chilli powder
13.Basmati rice
14.Fried onions
16.Saffron colour


1.Heat some oil in a pan,add whole garam masala tied in a muslin cloth,add onions,salt and saute till nice golden colour.
2.Add ginger garlic paste and fry for a minute,add chicken and saute for few minutes.
3.Add biryani masala powder,green chillies,pudina,coriander leaves,lemon juice,red chilli powder,curd and mix well.
4.Cover and cook for few minutes,meanwhile boil white rice by adding salt,oil,shajeera,rice soaked and mix well till 90% of rice done.
5.Drain the water and remove with help of strainer.
6.Remove half of the chickne from pan,layer it with rice,pudina,coriander leabes,saffron water,fried onions.Repeat the same process for top layer.
7.Add remaining chicken on top,cover the lid with some dough around.Now bake the oven at 375 F for 25-30 minutes till done.Serve hot.
