Pesarattu Pulusu

Ingredients:

1.Moong dal
2.Coriander powder
3.Cumin seeds
4.Cumin powder
5.Ginger chopped
6.Green chilli chopped
7.Mustard seeds
8.Onion
9.Red chilli powder
10.Salt to taste
11.Sugar
12.Tamarind paste

Preparation:

1.Soak moong dal in water for 2-3 hours,drain the water and add green chillies,ginger,salt and blend into a fine paste.
2.Heat a nonstick pan and pour moong dal batter and spread into a thick layer.
3.Heat some oil in a pan,add mustard seeds,cumin seeds,red chillies and saute for few seconds.
4.Add ginger garlic paste,onions and saute for 2-3 minutes.Now add salt,turmeric powder,green chillies,curry leaves,coriander powder
5.Add tamarind juice and bring it to boil,add jaggery and boil for 10 minutes.
6.Finally add pesarattu pieces and mix well,cook for another 5 minutes till done.Serve hot with garnished coriander leaves.
