Lamb pepper with chironji


4.Coriander leaves
5.Coriander powder
6.Cumin seeds
7.Ginger garlic paste
11.Red chillies
12.Salt to taste
13.Tomato puree
14.Turmeric powder


1.Blend dry garam masalas,cumin seeds,coriander powder,chironji,red chillies and blend into a coarse paste.
2.Heat some oil in a pressure cooker,add shahijeera,onions,salt and saute for few minutes till light brown colour.
3.Add turmeric,ginger garlic paste and saute till raw flavour is all gone,add ground masala paste,some water and mix well.
4.Cook till mixture oozes out oil,add tomato puree and mix well cook for another few minutes.
5.Now add mutton pieces and mix well,cover and cook on medium flame for few minutes.
6.After done,separate mutton stock into a separate pan and cook this until it attains thick gravy consistency.
7.Now add crushed pepper and garlic mixture to the gravy and mix well.Finally add mutton pieces and toss well.Cook for another few minutes till mutton pieces turn into light brown colour,sprinkle some coriander leaves and serve hot.
