Hooral Puri

Ingredients:

1.Chana dal soaked and pressure cooked for 4-5 whistles
2.Maida
3.Sugar
4.Cashew nuts
5.Cardamom powder
6.Cherries
7.Ghee
8.Oil

Preparation:

1.Heat some ghee in a pan,add boiled chana dal paste,sugar and mix well,cook on slow flame till sugar melts evenly.
2.Cook till it turns into thick dough mixture by adding little amount of ghee.
3.Sprinkle some cardamom powder,cashews and mix well.
4.Once done rest aside to cool down the mixture.Prepare round balls with the mixture by greasing some ghee to your palms.
5.Prepare chapathi dough with maida by adding little amount of oil,divide the dough into dumplings and roll them into a small puri,stuff the chana dal ball into poori and wrap around the edges.
6.Grease some ghee and press it gently with your ahnds into a thick layered chapathi,place on hot tawa and cook by drizzling some ghee.Serve hot
