Aakakarakai Onion Curry


3.Dried red chillies
4.Dry Coconut pieces
5.Salt to taste
6.Red chilli powder
7.Turmeric powder
9.Curry leaves
10.Ginger garlic paste
11.Mustard seeds
12.Cumin seeds
13.Urad dal
15.Coriander powder


1.Boil aakakarakayalu in tamarind juice by adding turmeric powder,salt.
2.Now deep fry aakakarakayalu in hot oil and keep aside.
3.Heat some oil in another pan,add dried red chillies,urad dal,mustard seeds,cumin seeds and saute for few seconds.
4.Add onions and saute for few minutes till brown colour,add ginger garlic paste,curry leaves and fry.
5.Add turmeric powder,dry coconut,red chilli powder to the pan and mix well.Sprinkle some coriander powder,Finally add fried akakarakayalu to the pan and mix well.Serve hot with garnished coriander leaves.
