Shikaya Aaku Charu

Ingredients:

1.Shikaya Aaku
2.Toor Dal
3.Tomatoes
4.Tamarind
5.Jaggery
6.Dried red chillies
7.Pepper corns
8.Coriander seeds
9.Garlic cloves
10.Turmeric powder
11.Hing
12.Green chillies
13.Tempering seeds
14.Curry leaves
15.Coriander leaves
16.Salt to taste
17.Oil

Preparation:

1.Dy roast pepper,toor dal,coriander seeds,red chilli powder,salt,garlic into a fine powder.
2.Heat some oil in a pan,add tempering seeds,fenugreek seeds,green chillies,red chillies,curry leav,hing,tomatoes and saute for few minutes.
3.Add Shikaya Aaku and fry till leaves are tender.Add some water as required,tamarind,turmeric powder,salt,ground powder,jaggery and mix well,bring it to boil.Transfer into a bowl and serve hot.
