1.Pesalu (Green moong dal)
2.Sesame seeds powder
5.Green chillies
6.Mustard seeds
7.Cumin seeds
8.Coriander leaves
9.Kasoori methi
11.Salt to taste
12.Turmeric powder


1.Pressure cook moong dal for 3 whistles and keep aside.
2.Heat some oil in a pan,add mustard,cumin seeds,onions and saute till nice brown colour.
3.Add tomatoes and cook till tender and soft,add coriander leaves,red chilli powder,salt and mix well.
4.Add cooked moong dal to the pan and mix well,add sesame seeds powder (red chillies,sesame,cumin seeds) and mix well.
5.Add kasoori methi and give it a good mix.Cook till water evaporates,transfer into a bowl and serve hot.
