1.Urad dal
3.Rice flour
4.Besan flour
5.Green chillies
7.Ginger garlic paste
8.Curry leaves
9.Turmeric powder
10.Tempering seeds
11.Cumin seeds
12.Salt to taste
13.Coriander leaves
14.Dried red chillies


1.Heat some oil in a pan,add tempering seeds,dried red chillies,curry leaves,coriander leaves,pudina,ginger garlic paste and saute for few minutes.
2.Add green chillies,bachalikoora and fry till tender,add turmeric powder,salt,dissolve rice flour,besan flour in buttermilk to the pan,mix well evenly.(Switch off the flame and add rice,besan flour mixture).
3.Soak urad dal in water for 4 hrs and blend into a thick paste,to this add curry leaves,cumin seeds,soda,salt,ginger garlic paste,green chilli paste,coriander,pudina leaves and mix well.
4.Heat sufficient oil for deep frying,prepare small vadas and deep fry till nice golden colour.Transfer into buttermilk mixture and soak it.Serve immediately.
