3.Ginger garlic paste
4.Red chilli powder
5.Salt to taste
6.Turmeric powder
8.Coriander powder
9.Curry leaves
12.Tempering seeds
13.Fenugreek seeds


1.Boil 1/2 ltr water in a pan,meanwhile make gashes to usirikayalu and drop them in water,bring it to boil for about 15 min.
2.Once done,transfer into a bowl.
3.In the same pan pour some oil,add tempering seeds,fenugreek seeds,curry leaves,ginger garlic paste,turmeric and saute.
4.Add boiled usirikayalu,cover and cook for 2 min.Add tomatoes,coriander powder,fenugreek powder,red chilli powder,salt,hing and mix well all the ingredients,cook for another few minutes.
5.Sprinkle some sugar give it a stir,cover and cook for couple of minutes till done.Transfer into a bowl and serve hot.
