Rajasthani Dal

Ingredients:

1.Moong dal
2.Chana dal
3.Turmeric powder
4.Salt
5.Cumin seeds
6.Garlic
7.Onions
8.Green chilli paste
9.Red chilli powder
10.Coriander and cumin powder
11.Raw mango powder
12.Coriander leaves

Preparation:

1.Wash and soak dals in water for 2-3 hours,now combine salt,turmeric powder in a pressure cooker and cook for 2 whistles.
2.Heat some oil in a pan,add cumin seeds and saute for few seconds.
3.Add garlic,onions and saute on medium flame for a  minute.Add ginger green chilli paste,chilli powder,coriander cumin powder and give it a good stir.
4.Add cooked dals,1/2 cup water and mix well.Add salt,dry mango powder and cook on medium flame for 2-3 minutes,once done serve hot with coriander leaves.
