2.Cashew nuts
3.Kashmiri red chillies
4.Green chillies
9.Whole garam masala
10.Ginger garlic paste
11.Kasoori methi
12.Masoor daal
13.Ginger chopped
14.Garlic chopped
15.Green chillies chopped


1.Heat some butter in a pressure pan,tie whole garam masala in small cloth and place aside in pressure pan.
2.Add onions,cashew nuts,salt and saute till slightly transparent.Add ginger garlic paste and saute for a minute.
3.Add green chillies,red chillies,tomatoes and mix well,cover and cook for 5-6 whistles.
4.Strain water into a separate bowl,blend remaining ingredients into fine thick paste.
5.Now filter the blended paste into a separate bowl,Transfer the mixture into a separate pan.
6.Add sugar,kasoori methi,butter,fresh cream and mix well.This is Makhani Gravy.
7.Heat some butter in a pan,add garlic,ginger,green chillies chopped saute till nice aroma.
8.Add boiled and cooked whole masoor dal,makhani gravy and give it a good mix.Add some salt,fresh cream and give it a fine stir,bring it to a boil till done.Transfer into a bowl and serve hot with naan.
