2.Whole garam masala
3.Cashew nuts
6.Ginger garlic paste
7.Salt to taste
8.Green chillies
9.Red chillies
12.Kasoori methi
15.Fresh cream


1.Add some butter in a pressure pan,tie whole garam masala in a muslin cloth and keep aside in pressure pan.
2.Add onions,salt,cashew nuts and saute for few minutes till translucent.
3.Add ginger garlic paste and saute for a minute,add green chillies,red chillies,tomatoes and mix well.
4.Pressure cook for 15 minutes on medium flame,once done drain extracted water into a bowl.(Remove whole garam masala packet)
5.Blend boiled ingredients into a fine paste,cook makhani gravy by adding some kasoori methi and give it a mix.
6.Meanwhile roast brinjal on hot tawa by drizzling some oil and some salt.Cook on both sides evenly till golden brown colour.
7.Melt some butter in a pan,add makhani gravy and cook for few minutes,add some water if required.
8.Add some fresh cream,bring it to boil.Finally add  brinjal pieces in makhani gravy and stir gently,cook for a minute and serve hot.
