Mixed Vegetable Sambar

Ingredients
:

1.Toor dal
2.Tamarind juice
3.Tomatoes
4.Onions
5.Raddish
6.Capsicum
7.Salt to taste
8.Asafoetida
9.Red chillies
10.Oil
11.Mustard seeds
12.Coriander leaves
13.Carrot
14.Sambar powder
15.Curry leaves

Preparation:

1.Firstly cook toor dal in pressure cooker and mash well,prepare tamarind juice and keep aside.
2.Take a pressure pan,add in tamarind juice,sambar powder,mixed veggies,salt and pressure cook for 2 whistles.
3.Once pressure is completely done,add in cooked lentils mixture to the pan and bring it to a boil.
4.On the other side heat some oil in a pan,add mustard seeds,red chillies and saute for few seconds till red chillies turn into brown colour.
5.Add asafoetida and saute,finally add the tempering to the sambar and mix well evenly,stir occasionally in between and bring it to boil.Once done garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
