Mushroom Chettinad

Ingredients:

1.Mushrooms
2.Oil
3.Grated coconut
4.Coriander seeds
5.Cumin seeds
6.Fennel seeds
7.Red chillies
8.Green cardamoms
9.Cloves
10.Ginger
11.Garlic
12.Poppy seeds
13.Cashew nuts
14.Onions
15.Curry leaves
16.Tomatoes
17.Turmeric powder
18.Salt to taste
19.Red chilli powder
20.Pepper corns
21.Coriander leaves

Preparation:

1.Heat some oil in a pan,add coconut grated,coriander seeds,cumin seeds,fennel seeds,red chillies,cardamom,cloves and cinnamon,Saute for 5 min on medium heat.
2.Rest aside the mixture to cool down and blend well with ginger,garlic,poppy seeds,cashew nuts with sufficient water into a smooth paste.
3.Heat some oil in another pan,add onions and saute till golden colour,add curry leaves,ground paste and saute for a minute.
4.Add tomatoes,turmeric powder,salt and red chilli powder and mix well.Cook for 5-7 min till oil separates from the mixture.
5.Add mushrooms,pepper corns and saute for 5-6 min.Serve hot with garnished coriander leaves.
