3.Cinnamon stick
4.Chana dal
5.Coriander seeds
6.Dried red chillies
7.Curry leaves
8.Rice flour
9.Salt to taste
10.Turmeric powder
11.Cumin seeds
12.Oil for deep frying


1.Pressure cook aratikaya pieces for 2 whistles and keep aside.
2.Now add ground masala powder (chana dal,cinnamon,cumin seeds,red chillies,coriander seeds) salt,rice flour,onions,curry leaves and mix well all the ingredients.
3.If need we can add some water,meanwhile heat sufficient oil for deep frying.Prepare small vadas on your palms by greasing with some water on your palms.
4.Drop them in hot oil and deep fry till light brown colour.Serve hot.
