Rava Cake

Ingredients:

1.Bombay ravva 1/4 cup
2.Dry Coconut powder 1 1/2 cup
3.Maida 1/2 cup
4.Sugar 3/4 cup
5.Baking powder 1 tbsp
6.Butter 110 grams
7.Egg 1
8.Milk 1 cup soaked few saffron strands
9.Almond essence few drops

Preparation:

1.Take a deep bowl add above said ingredients and mix well evenly and prepare a smooth dough.
2.Now spread this dough in a baking tray,give some gashes with a knife slightly on top.
3.Bake this in oven for 109 degrees C for around 40 minutes.
4.Meanwhile prepare sugar syrup in a bowl (sugar 1 1/2 cup). Add some lemon juice to the syrup and bring it to boil.
5.After done add rose water and keep aside.Now remove the tray from oven and pour sugar syrup on top.
6.Garnish with almonds on top of the cake and cut into individual pieces and serve.
