Tomato Shorba Indian Tomato Soup


2.Whole garam masala
3.Coriander stems
4.Pudina stems
5.Turmeric powder
6.Ghee + Oil
7.Garlic slices
8.Cumin seeds
9.Coriander leaves
11.Coriander seeds roughly crushed
14.Salt to taste
15.Green chillies


1.Take a pan pour some oil and heat it,add whole garam masala,cumin seeds,pepper corns,coriander seeds,ginger,garlic,turmeric and cook for a minute.
2.Add green chillies,coriander,pudina stems to the pan and give it a mix.Add in tomatoes diced and saute for 1-2 minutes on medium flame.
3.Add water as required for soup consistency and bring it to boil for 1 hour so that tomatoes get mashed well.
4.After boiling strain the shorba with a strainer and add salt,sugar,bring it to boil.
5.Take another pan add some ghee and melt it,add cumin seeds,thinly sliced garlic,coriander leaves and fry for few seconds now pour tadkha into the shorba and mix well.Serve hot with rice.
