Garlicky Mushroom Pakoda


1.Garlic paste 2 tbsp
2.Mushrooms 8-12
3.Besan flour 1 cup
4.Hing 1/2 tbsp
5.Red chilli powder 1 1/2 tbsp
6.Turmeric powder 1/2 tbsp
7.Salt to taste
8.Baking soda 1/2 tbsp
9.Oil for deep frying
10.Garlic powder for sprinkling


1.Take mushrooms in a bowl,add hing,red chilli powder,turmeric powder,salt.Mix well and set aside.
2.Add besan flour,red chilli powder,turmeric powder,hing,salt and garlic paste in a bowl.Mix well with water and prepare a smooth batter consistency.
3.Add baking soda and mix well.
4.Meanwhile heat sufficient oil for deep frying in  kadai.
5.Dip the mushrooms in batter and coat them well,deep fry till golden color and crisp.Transfer onto a paper napkin and drain excess oil.Sprinkle some garlic powder on pakodas and serve hot.
