Eggs in Spicy Chettinad Masala


1.Eggs boiled 6
2.Chilli powder 2 tbsp
3.Coconut powder 3 tbsp
4.Coriander seeds 1 tbsp
5.Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
6.Fennel seeds 1/2 tbsp
7.Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
8.Green chillies 3
9.Lichen 1 tbsp
10.Marathi moggu 1 no.
11.Mustard seeds 1 tbsp
12.Oil 1/2 cup
13.Onion shallots 1/2 cup
14.Pepper corns 1 tbsp
15.Poppy seeds 2 tbsp
16.Dried red chillies 6
17.Star anise 1 no
18.Tomato puree 1 cup
19.Whole garam  masala
20.Turmeric powder 1/4 tbsp


1.Take a pan add red chillies,pepper corns,whole garam masala,coriander seeds,fennel seeds,poppy seeds and dry roast them for few minutes.
2.Heat some oil in another pan add in mustard seeds,cumin seeds,onion shallot paste,curry leavesturmeric powder,ginger garlic paste,mix well and cook for few minutes.
3.Add green chillies,coconut powder,tomato puree,red chilli powder,mix well.Cover and cook or another 5 minutes.
4.Add salt and chettinad masala paste and water,mix it up.Cook for few minutes and add fried eggs and coriander leaves.Serve hot with naan.
