Kothimeera Steamed Vada

Ingredients:

1.Coriander leaves
2.Besan flour
3.Oats
4.Pudina
5.Cashew nuts
6.Cumin seeds
7.Green chillies
8.Salt to taste
9.Red chilli powder
10.Oil for deep frying

Preparation:

1.Take a pan dry roast oats 1 tbsp for few minutes and keep aside.
2.Take
a big deep bowl add in 1/2 cup besan flour,chopped coriander
leaves,pudina leaves chopped,roughly crushed cashew nuts,cumin
seeds,pinch of red chilli powder,green chillies chopped,salt and mix
well evenly.
3.Prepare a stiff dough,add in roasted oats and knead well.
4.Take a pan pour some water and heat it,meanwhile grease a pan with some oil and place the prepared dough in middle of pan.
5.Now cover and steam cook the dough for 2-3 minutes.Off the stove and remove from the flame.
6.Heat sufficient oil for deep frying,meanwhile gently remove the steamed dough into a separate plate and cut into small pieces.
7.Press the dough gently like vada and place cashew nut in middle and drop them in hot oil and deep fry.
8.Fry till golden brown and transfer into a plate,serve hot.
