1.Moong dal
3.Whole garam masala
4.Coconut grated
5.Green chillies
7.Coriander leaves
8.Mustard seeds
9.Salt to taste
10.Green peas
12.Curry leaves
13.Turmeric powder


1.Pressure cook moong dal for 2 whistles and keep aside.
2.Heat some oil in a pan,add mustard seeds,curry leaves,onions and saute.
3.Add green peas,carrot,tomatoes and mix well,cook for few minutes on medium flame.Add salt,turmeric and mix well.
4.Add some water as required and bring it to boil by covering a lid.
5.Add ground masala paste (cloves,poppy seeds,green chillies,cardamom,coconut,coriander seeds,cumin seeds) and  mix well,cook for 2 minutes.
6.Add boiled moong dal and mix it well.Add some salt and mix well.Switch off the flame and serve hot.
