Cabbage Pakoda Curry


1.Cabbage grated 1 cup
2.Besan flour 1/4 cup
3.Tomato puree 1 cup
4.Salt to taste
5.Red chilli powder
6.Cumin powder 1 tbsp
7.Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
8.Oil for deep frying
9.Vaamu 1/2 tbsp
10.Onion chopped 1
11.Green chillies 3
12.Coriander leaves


1.Heat sufficient oil for deep frying the pakodas.
2.Take a bowl add cabbage grated,besan flour,vaamu,red chilli powder,salt and mix well evenly with water like pakodi batter.
3.Gently drop them in hot oil like pakodas and deep fry.
4.Meanwhile take another pan pour some oil and heat it.
5.Add onion chopped,green chillies,ginger garlic paste and saute for few minutes.
6.Add salt,red chilli powder,tomato puree and saute till its done.
7.Cook until it becomes thick in consistency,finally add cabbage pakodas,cumin powder,add some water for gravy consistency and give it a mix.
8.Cook for few minutes till done,off the stove and transfer into a bowl,garnish with coriander leaves.Serve hot..!!!
