Palak Pakodi Curry

Palak Pakodi Curry


1.Spinach 1 cup chopped
2.Besan flour 1/2 cup
3.Tomato paste 1 cup
4.Rice flour 2 tbsp
5.Vaamu 1/2 tbsp
6.Onion chopped
7.Green chillies 3
8.Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
9.Salt to taste
10.Red chilli powder
11.Coriander powder 1 tbsp
12.Oil for deep frying
13.Coriander leaves


1.Heat sufficient oil for deep frying.
2.Take a bowl add besan flour,rice flour,vaamu,salt,red chilli powder,spinach finely chopped and mix well by adding water as we needed prepare a thick pakodi batter consistency.
3.Now drop the mixture in hot oil like pakodas and deep fry till crisp.
4.On other side take another pan pour some oil,add chopped onions,green chillies,ginger garlic paste,salt,red chilli powder and saute for 2 minutes.
5.Add tomato paste(boiled tomatoes) and cook till it attains thick consistency.
6.Finally add fried palak pakodas.coriander powder and water as we needed.Cook for 1minute.
7.Transfer into a bowl and garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot..!!!
