Kaju Bendi Pulusu Kura


1.Lady Finger 100gms
2.Cashewnuts 50gms
3.Tamarind juice (as we needed)
4.Garlic Cloves 5
5.Green chillies
6.Curry leaves
7.Asofetida (a pinch) or Hing(Inguva)
8.Jaggery (1 tbsp)
9.Red chilly powder
10.Rice flour 1tbsp
11.Coriander leaves
12.Oil 2tbsp


1.Take a pan and pour some oil.Heat it.
2.Add cashewnuts and fry them few couple of minutes till light brown color.
3.Remove the cashewnuts from the pan.
4.Now add garlic cloves,hing,green chillies,curry leaves and 1 inch sliced lady finger.And give a nice stir till they fry evenly.
5.Add tamarind juice to this fried mixture,add salt as we needed,red chilly powder and teaspoon of jaggery.Give a nice stir.
6.Cover and cook for few minutes.
7.Take a bowl,add 1 tbsp of rice flour,prepare a thick paste,mix well without forming any lumps.
8.Add the above paste into the mixture and stir.Bring it to a boil.
9.After getting thick consistency of the mixture now add fried cashews and mix well.
10.Garnish with coriander leaves.Serve hot..!!
