Gur Papdi


1.Wheat flour 2 cups
2.Jaggery 200 gms
3.Butter 1 cup
4.Pista 5-6 no.
5.Badan 5-6 no.
6.Green cardamom 1 tbsp
7.Nutmeg powder 1 pinch
8.Fennel seeds for garnishing (Sounf)


1.Apply butter on a aluminium tray.
2.Take a pan,add butter on medium heat.
3.Add the flour,mix well.Roast till golden brown.
4.Remove from the hat set aside to cool.
5.Slice the jaggery,badam and pista
6.Add the jaggery to the roasted flour.
7.Add cardamom powder and nutmeg powder.Mix till the jaggery melts.
8.Transfer this mixture onto the greased tray.Apply the butter on your palms and spread the mixture evenly on the tray.
9.Garnish the mixture with sliced badam,pista.
10.Cut the mixture into desired shapes.
